Edinburgh International Airport

If you are travelling internationally - a valid passport is normally required. For some countries your passport will need to be valid for at least six months after your intended return and you may also need a special visa. Before travelling you should always check the countries' requirements and allow enough time to renew your passport and/ or apply for a visa at the relevant embassy or consulate.

Whilst most places accept credit and debit cards, cash is still the best way to pay for small items like; taxis, snacks and tips.

If you are in any doubt about travelling with an illness or condition you should always consult your doctor. If you are on prescribed medication, always take enough with you and if you suffer from travel sickness or are prone to picking up minor stomach upsets whilst away - remember you can always stock up on most medicines at the airport chemists or newsagents.
